A NOTE BEFORE YOU GET STARTED
It’s normal, in the beginning, not to feel very much. It may be difficult to locate the strongest sensation in your body – that’s okay!
It can feel awkward & numb, or you may even flood with emotion. Let whatever comes up, come. No judgement – it’s all information.
Just notice it and try to feel okay with however it goes. I promise it becomes easier and easier with practice! Eventually, you will be able to feel your body and the strongest sensations more easily and regularly.
Sit or stand comfortably
Bring your awareness to your breath
Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth
Breathe in through your nose and out through your heart space
Breathe in through your nose and out through your feet (or sitz bones) grounding yourself
(repeat this breathing a few rounds, then let your breathing return to normal)
Scan your body from head to toe, trying to notice where the strongest sensation in your body is (don’t try to change anything, just notice it)
When (if) you’ve located the strongest sensation – breathe into it and let it grow
Allow any messages to come to you
